Installation and configuration

Installation and commissioning

Putting a three-phase UPS in is an electrical project, not a delivery. Here is how the work runs and what we need before quoting it.

How the work runs

1. Site survey and load study

We confirm the real load, the feed available, and where the system can physically go.

2. Electrical coordination

Upstream protection, cable sizing and the bypass arrangement are settled before anything is ordered.

3. Delivery and placement

Access route, floor loading and clearances are checked against the cabinet before it arrives.

4. Termination and configuration

The system is wired in, then settings, alarm thresholds and any network card are configured.

5. Commissioning and handover

The system is verified under load and the configuration is documented for the people who will run it.

Large three-phase projects follow these steps, as for high-capacity three-phase UPS in mission-critical sites. Smaller single-phase and rack-mount systems can be installed through UPS installation and consulting service.
