Response on the island and around it

A technician is on site the same day across our four same-day cities: Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa. On the island that covers downtown, the West Island and the east-end industrial parks. Off-island sites on the North Shore and the South Shore are served by the same team; the arrival time is confirmed when you call.

What runs on UPS power in Montreal

Montréal International describes Greater Montréal as a global hub in information technology and home to a thriving artificial intelligence ecosystem. Those sectors bring dense server rooms and GPU clusters that run hot and need clean power without interruption. Add the city's teaching hospitals and universities, its aerospace and pharmaceutical plants, and the colocation sites on the island, and the installed base ranges from single-phase racks to large modular systems.

Electrical work in Quebec

Quebec regulates electrical installation work more tightly than most provinces. The Régie du bâtiment du Québec requires the appropriate contractor licence, including subclass 16, Electrical Contractor, to perform electrical installation work. When a UPS project includes new circuits, a new feed or a bypass panel, that part is done by a licensed electrical contractor, and we coordinate the UPS side with them.

Because Montreal is home base, installation and repair work on the island can usually start the same week it is approved. Sites planning a new system can compare three-phase UPS options and their batteries before asking for a quote.
