UPS service across Canada

UPS service across Canada

We provide uninterruptible power supply service across Canada: we maintain, repair and re-battery UPS systems for businesses and public bodies, from rack and tower units to three-phase systems of several hundred kVA. We reply and quote within 4 business hours. A technician is on site the same day in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa, and within 24 to 48 hours elsewhere. We are a Canadian UPS service and supply provider, working on UPS systems since 2012.

Key facts

What happens when you contact us

  1. You send the basics. Make and model, the kVA rating if you know it, the site address and what the UPS is doing. A photo of the nameplate and the alarm screen saves a round trip.
  2. We reply within 4 business hours with questions or a written quote, and name the technician and the date.
  3. The technician arrives prepared. Parts likely to be needed, such as fans, capacitors or a battery string, are sourced before the visit when the model is known.
  4. You get a written report. Readings, what was replaced, what is trending toward failure and what we recommend next.

Our uninterruptible power supply services

Equipment we service

Single-phase rack and tower units for network closets and branch offices, and three-phase systems for data centres, hospitals, plants and campuses. On the three-phase side that includes modular and monolithic designs, transformer-based and transformerless units, 208 V, 480 V and 600 V systems, and models the manufacturer no longer supports.

Brands we work on include APC by Schneider Electric, Eaton and Powerware, Vertiv and Liebert, Tripp Lite, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Socomec, ABB, GE, Delta and XPC. Units still under the manufacturer's warranty go to the manufacturer for warranty work.

A broader catalogue of field work, from battery service to dust removal and decontamination of electrical rooms, is described in this list of on-site UPS services. Owners comparing equipment before a project can start with an overview of three-phase UPS systems and their batteries.

Why scheduled service pays off

Most UPS failures trace back to parts that wear out on a known schedule: batteries, fans, capacitors and air filters. Manufacturers publish replacement intervals for exactly that reason, and their own reliability data favours regular visits. Vertiv's analysis of its installed base found that units receiving two preventive maintenance visits a year had a mean time between failures 23 times higher than units receiving none.

Our preventive maintenance guide explains what a visit should cover, and how long a UPS battery lasts covers the part that fails first.

Coverage and response

We cover every province. Response depends on where the site is:

Service is available in English and in French. Multi-site organizations get one point of contact and one report format across all their locations.

Common questions

Which UPS systems do you service?

Single-phase rack and tower units and three-phase systems from all major manufacturers, including APC, Eaton, Vertiv, Tripp Lite, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Socomec, ABB, GE, Delta and XPC, plus models that are no longer supported by their manufacturer.

How fast can a technician be on site?

The same day in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa, and within 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Canada. We reply to every request and send a quote within 4 business hours.

Do you work on units still under the manufacturer's warranty?

Warranty repairs belong to the manufacturer, so we refer those to them. We take over maintenance, repair and battery work once the warranty ends, or for equipment the warranty does not cover.

Are you the manufacturer's service organization?

No. We are a Canadian UPS service and supply provider, working since 2012. Brand names are used only to identify the equipment we service.

Do you service three-phase UPS only?

No. Three-phase systems are our specialty, but we also maintain and repair single-phase rack and tower units, often for the same organizations.

What do you need to quote a service visit?

The make, model and kVA rating, the site address, the number of units and battery cabinets, and what the system is doing now. A photo of the nameplate is the fastest way to give us the model.
