Service by brand
We maintain and repair Eaton three-phase UPS systems across Canada: 93PM, 93PS, Power Xpert 9395 and 9355, the discontinued 93E, 9390 and BladeUPS, and older units that still carry the Powerware name. We are a Canadian UPS service and supply provider since 2012, not Eaton. Same-day service in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa; 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Canada.

Powerware-badged systems are serviced the same way as their Eaton successors.
Eaton's 91PS/93PS guide says the UPS requires very little preventive maintenance, and still asks for periodic inspection of the units and batteries, with bolted connections re-torqued periodically. Our visit does that and covers the parts that wear: batteries, fans, filters and capacitors, with the event log and a written report.
The full checklist: Eaton preventive maintenance.
A red alarm indicator, a unit stuck on bypass, a module or charger fault, a battery string that no longer holds its runtime: we diagnose from the event log and the measurements, quote the part and the labour, and return the unit to normal operation with a test.
Faults, alarms and what to do first: Eaton UPS repair.
Eaton's 93PS guide recommends +20 °C to +25 °C to maximize battery service life, and its warranty covers batteries against failures in material and workmanship, not against normal aging and loss of ampere-hour capacity. An aged string is a maintenance item: we measure each block, replace the string as a set and size the new one to the runtime you need.
On-site battery work: UPS battery replacement.
Eaton and Powerware fleets under contract are covered on the Eaton and Powerware maintenance services page, and battery kits for smaller Eaton units are in the Eaton replacement battery catalogue.
Eaton publishes a service phase for each model in its End of Service Life master table. In the Mature phase, Eaton's own definition is best efforts: parts may be limited and product replacement is recommended. In the Retired phase there is no contract coverage from Eaton, but time and material services are available and preventive and battery services may be. A unit in either phase can still be maintained, and that is where most of our work on older Eaton and Powerware equipment sits.
When a replacement makes more sense: replacing a discontinued three-phase UPS.
A unit inside Eaton's warranty goes to Eaton: the 93PS guide gives twelve months from the original date of purchase, with repair or replacement made by Eaton or by a service provider Eaton approves. A new unit's start-up belongs with Eaton for the same reason. After that, maintenance, repairs and batteries can be done by us.

We also service Vertiv / Liebert, Tripp Lite and Mitsubishi three-phase systems.

Yes. Eaton's End of Service Life table puts older models in a Mature or Retired phase; even in Retired, time and material services remain available. We maintain those units while parts and batteries can be sourced.
