Service by brand
We maintain and repair Liebert three-phase UPS systems made by Vertiv: APM2, EXM, EXM2, EXS, EXL S1 and ITA2, and the discontinued NX, NXL and NXC units still in service. We are a Canadian UPS service and supply provider since 2012. We are not Vertiv, and new large Vertiv systems are started up by Vertiv. Same-day service in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa; 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Canada.

Discontinued families we still maintain:
Vertiv's Liebert APM2 user manual says the UPS system, battery included, requires periodic service and maintenance to ensure long service life. It asks for the battery terminal connections to be inspected and tightened at least once a year, and for the air filters to be cleaned or replaced about every two months under normal conditions, more often in dusty rooms. Our visit covers those items, the fans and capacitors, the event log and the battery readings.
The full visit: Liebert preventive maintenance.
The same manual states that service and maintenance must be performed by trained personnel only. We read the alarm history, test the batteries and the power path, replace the failed module, fan or battery string, and test the unit back to normal operation. Parts are quoted before they are fitted. Repairs on all brands: UPS repair.
Heat shortens the life of a Liebert battery string sharply. The APM2 manual states that if the average battery temperature rises from 25 °C to 35 °C, the service life of the battery is reduced by 50%. Its periodic battery self-test can be set anywhere from 30 to 360 days; it confirms the battery is active, and the block-by-block readings of a maintenance visit show which block is ageing first.
On-site battery work: UPS battery replacement.
Contract maintenance on Liebert systems is described on the Vertiv and Liebert maintenance service page, and blocks for Liebert battery cabinets and smaller units are in the Liebert battery listings.
NX, NXL, NXC and ITA systems are no longer sold. We keep them running while parts and batteries can be sourced, and when a replacement is the better choice we size a current system for the measured load.
Planning the replacement: replacing a discontinued three-phase UPS.
We do not start up or commission new large Vertiv systems. Vertiv does that, which keeps the factory warranty in place, and a unit under Vertiv's warranty or a Vertiv service contract stays with Vertiv. We take on maintenance, repairs and battery work when the owner chooses another service provider after that.
Same-day service in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa; 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Canada. We reply and quote within 4 business hours. Tell us the brand, the model and the symptom or the visit you need, and the quote comes back with the scope and the date.
We also service Tripp Lite, Mitsubishi and Toshiba three-phase systems.

No. New large Vertiv systems are started up by Vertiv, which keeps the factory warranty in place. We take on maintenance and repairs after that if the owner chooses us.
Vertiv's APM2 manual states that an average battery temperature of 35 °C instead of 25 °C reduces the service life of the battery by 50%.
Yes, while parts and batteries can be sourced. When a repair no longer makes sense, we quote a current replacement sized to the load.
