We maintain and repair APC and Schneider Electric UPS systems across Canada: Galaxy VS, VX and VL frames, Symmetra PX, Easy UPS 3S, 3M and 3L, and the older MGE Galaxy units still in service. We are a Canadian UPS service and supply provider since 2012, not Schneider Electric. Same-day service in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa; 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Canada.

Preventive maintenance
A visit covers the power path, the batteries and the room: visual and thermal inspection, connection torque, fans and air filters, battery readings block by block, the event log and the firmware level, then a written report. On a Galaxy VS, the display raises an informational alarm, Air filter technical check recommended, when the filters are due for a check as part of preventive maintenance.

Repair and alarms
Most calls start with an alarm on the display, a unit running on battery or a unit that has gone to bypass. We read the event log, find the module, the battery string or the bypass fault behind it, and quote the repair with the part. On a Galaxy VS that carries the Live Swap label, Schneider Electric's manual allows a power module to be inserted or removed in any operation mode. Without the label, the same manual sends power module replacement to Schneider Electric, and we tell you so before any visit is booked.

Battery strings and cabinets
We replace complete battery strings and modular battery strings in APC cabinets, and measure every block before and after the work. Schneider Electric's Easy UPS 3M specification gives 20 °C to 25 °C as the recommended optimal temperature for the batteries, and its Smart-UPS manuals list elevated ambient temperature, poor utility power and frequent short discharges as causes of shorter battery life. The battery room temperature is one of the first readings in our report.

Legacy and discontinued models
A unit that is no longer sold can still be maintained. MGE Galaxy and Galaxy 5000, 5500 and 7000 systems stay in service while parts and batteries can be sourced. When a repair stops making sense, we size a current system for the measured load and plan the cutover around your maintenance bypass.

When Schneider Electric should do the work
Two cases belong with the manufacturer. A unit still covered by Schneider Electric's own warranty or service plan should go through Schneider Electric first. And a new Galaxy VS is started up by Schneider Electric: its operation manual says start-up must only be performed by Schneider Electric. Maintenance, repairs and battery work after that can be done by us.

Yes. We maintain and repair Galaxy VS, VX and VL frames, Symmetra PX, Easy UPS 3S, 3M and 3L and the discontinued MGE Galaxy families, battery cabinets included.
Can you start up a new Galaxy VS?
No. Schneider Electric's Galaxy VS operation manual says start-up must only be performed by Schneider Electric. We take on the maintenance, repairs and battery work once the unit is in service.
Is my load protected while the UPS is in maintenance bypass?
Not by the batteries. Schneider Electric's Galaxy VS manual notes that the batteries are not available as an alternate power source in maintenance bypass. We plan that step for a low-risk window and keep it short.
Do you work on discontinued MGE Galaxy units?
Yes, while parts and batteries can still be sourced. If a repair no longer makes sense, we quote a current replacement sized to the measured load.
