The Galaxy VS is a modular three-phase UPS for edge, small and medium data centres, roughly 10 to 150 kW depending on voltage. Since 2022 the whole Galaxy V-Series ships with eConversion as the factory-default mode, running at up to 99% efficiency, about a three-fold cut in UPS electricity loss, while still certified to IEC 62040-3 Class 1, the same protection level as double conversion. eConversion keeps the inverter doing power-factor correction and harmonic filtering, with a patented zero-break transfer, so the efficiency gain costs nothing in protection. On the 10 to 100 kW models, internal smart battery modules give a self-contained UPS-plus-battery cabinet, and an N+1 internal-battery arrangement raises availability substantially.
