The Modulon DPH is Delta's MW-class modular UPS, built from 50 kW power modules, which Delta calls the industry's leading power density.

What efficiency does the Modulon DPH reach?

It's tuned for the way data centres actually run: 95% AC-AC efficiency at 30% load and a flat 96% above 50% (up to 96.5%), with unity power factor (kVA = kW) and low input THD.

How far does the Modulon DPH scale?

Delta's modular-design white paper gives the example of a single rack that scales vertically from 25 kW to 200 kW with N+1 or N+X redundancy, and presents modular design as a way to take a site from TIA-942 Tier 1 or 2 up to Tier 4. The current 50 to 600 kVA model fits 500 kVA in a single rack and 600 kVA in two, with module and system redundancy and parallel expansion up to 8 units for 4.8 MVA. North America: 300 and 500 kVA at 480 V.

Fault tolerance & service

Power modules, control modules and static-transfer (STS) modules are plug-and-play, and Delta says the hot-swappable key modules keep mean time to repair close to zero without downtime risk. Redundant components and a dual CAN bus are there to avoid a single point of failure.
