Rack-integrated UPS (forthcoming)

The Ai90 puts the UPS inside the equipment rack, power conversion, battery, maintenance bypass and output distribution in a single 13U rack-mounted system, 50 to 70 kW at 480/277 V or 480 V (a 400/230 V configuration is offered to 60 kW), instead of a separate floor-standing unit wired back to facility distribution. It ships in two busbar-connected sections, a 5U UPS section and an 8U battery section, which XPC says simplifies transport and speeds installation compared with a floor-standing UPS, and it targets high-density AI/GPU compute, edge and prefabricated data centres where power should scale with the rack. XPC says the Ai90 is not yet shipping and expects availability in early 2027.
