Overview

The Xtreme Power M90U-80 is a three-phase UPS series for critical loads, data centres, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure. We specify the right configuration from the M90U-80 line, supply it, and install it turnkey across Canada. We carry every major brand, so we can compare the M90U-80 against the alternatives on price, footprint and lead time.

Facility-scale modular, N+1

The M90U is XPC's facility modular platform (15 to 140 kW at 208/120V with modular N+1 redundancy) built from hot-swappable 15/20 kW power and battery modules behind a full wrap-around maintenance bypass. XPC cites a footprint that saves up to 40% of floorspace versus comparable systems. Four variants cover the range: M90U (15 to 60 kW, internal battery), M90LU (external battery, extended runtime), M90U-80 (to 80 kW in one cabinet) and M90U-140 (to 140 kW with the M90-BC enclosure).

A modern replacement for an aging centralized UPS

If you're running a legacy fixed-capacity centralized UPS that's aging or near end of life (say an APC Symmetra, an Eaton BladeUPS or a Vertiv Liebert EXM) the M90U is built to take its place: instead of swapping one monolithic box for another, you move to a platform you scale a module at a time, with N+1 redundancy and per-module serviceability. Tell us the unit you're replacing and your load, and we'll size, supply and install the M90U to match.

Sizing, redundancy and custom builds

We engineer the solution: load and growth analysis, redundancy (N, N+1, 2N), runtime and battery sizing, paralleling and switchgear, and custom configurations where the standard catalogue doesn't fit. Because we supply every major brand, the M90U-80 is one option we weigh on its merits, not the only answer.

Supply, install and lifecycle

We deliver, install and commission the system on site (coordinated with your electrical contractor), then keep it running with preventive maintenance, battery replacement and emergency support, including M90U-80 units that are out of warranty or discontinued by the manufacturer.

Common questions

Can you replace an old or discontinued unit with a different brand?

Yes, that's most of what we do. Send the model and part number you have (any brand, even end-of-life) and we cross-reference an equivalent that matches the load and footprint. If the original is back-ordered, we propose an in-stock unit that ships sooner.

Do you replace just the batteries, or the whole UPS?

Whichever is the better value. A battery replacement (sometimes with an added cabinet for more runtime) often restores full protection at a fraction of a new system. We need your exact model and variant to quote it accurately.

What are the lead times?

It depends on the model and stock. When the original has a long lead time, we usually propose an equivalent we can ship sooner so the load isn't left exposed. Tell us your timeline in the quote.

Do you install it, and across Canada?

Yes, we supply, install and commission the system anywhere in Canada, coordinated with your electrician, and maintain it afterward: preventive maintenance, batteries, emergency support and remote monitoring, on a single unit or a multi-site fleet.

Can you quote a complete system, not just the UPS?

Yes, UPS, power distribution, racks, batteries and the installation in one quote, coordinated with your electrical contractor.
